I've been lurking on the forums for some time by now;
I had some questions and found all the answers, except one;
it baffles me greatly and sorry if I sound silly :$, but here it goes:

I finally manged to buy a large transport with cargo pods hardpoints, thinking that cargo pods would add space to the usual cargo space of the ship; am I right in this assumption?
If I am, how do I fill up the extra space?
On the trading screen it shows only the usual cargo space, and i doesn't make any difference whether cargo pods are mounted or not, so I believe I must miss something somewhere.

Usually the solution is in front of my eyes but I just can't see it;
I've tried eveything but no use, so I resolved to ask.

Again, sorry if I waste your time for such a small thing, but it makes me mad, hehehe... :crazy:

The cargo pods were added as an extra, with no change to the available space. The only option you get with
these is to be able to change the colour and style ... Shame really.
No change if they are mounted or not. Same with the trains as well, sorry. Hope this helps with out dashing
your hopes ...

He, he, he... I faced the same mistake when I bough my train. Indeed it's fun to change the colors of my Train from time to time.

Thanks for the quick reply guys ;

NPC's trains seemed to show extra pod space, that's why I was almost sure that they had more than an aesthetic function;

no big deal really, just some more trading ahead...:D

If you think that they are so interesting... you might decide to play an NPC role. :P

To be honest my trader is a right scrooge, I have no pods, and if I can get away with it, no weapons either. Saves a ton on the repair bills...

That and paying 4 k per pod cos some nutter in a bomber, or that bloody neutron star, blew it off.
