817 A.S. - Today, Her Majesty's Ship Isaac Brock and Commander Roger Ring, received a strange hail within the Leeds system.

According to a source on the Isaac Brock, the hail was from a group of pirates known as the Bretonian Buccaneers, two pirates to be exact. Apparently they came across a Kusari Liner taking Bretonian refugees into Kusari space. The Liner, according to our source, was apparently destroyed by a faulty engine. It just so happened these two pirates were in the area at the time of the Liner's destruction. They proceeded to the Liner's destruction site and waited, while hailing the Armed Forces to send a transport to pick the Refugees up.

Our source has also informed us of a fight that happened between the Buccaneers and a stray Rogue, just before the arrival of the Armed Forces.

Upon the arrival of the Armed Forces, our source has told us that the Buccaneers fled on sight. Leaving Commander Ring and the Isaac Brock to deal with the Civilians stranded in space. Just as quickly as the Buccaneer's hailed the Armed Forces, they disappeared.

1,235 refugees were rescued from a certain death that would have befallen them if these two pirates weren't around.

It is said that the Bretonian Buccaneers are ruthless pirates that will resort to killing, if their demands aren't met. They've disrupted trade countless of times in Leeds, stopping a wide range of merchants from the four houses, and their actions even involve destroying intruding pirates. These Buccaneer's are a dangerous group of pirates, that don't solely operate in Leeds, and should be avoided at all costs.
