Biography of Sinistre Leoncoeur - His Majesty's Margrave
Sinistre Leoncoeur, presently a nobleman, a Marquis in the loyal service of King Louis, is a man born in the heart of Gallia, on New Paris.
Sinistre hails from an old line of noblemen stretching all the way to 334 AGS, when his forefather was granted the title of Comte for "courageous deeds in the service of the royal family", a tradition which has not veined much throughout their history.
And mirroring that, the might, influence and position of the Leoncoeur dinasty have grown throughout the years, at this point Sinistre's father, Maximilien Leoncoeur, being a Duke and vassal of the King himself, who among his other duties and privileges, as a Duke of the King, manages a duchy on Planet New Paris - the title and estate being succeeded by Sinistre after his father's death, as is the noble tradition of the Gallian "blue blood".
Coming from a family with a proud military tradition, Sinistre was a military tactical enthusiast even from childhood.
Gloomy prognoses related to his health made everyone believe he would never be accepted into His Majesty's academy, but a push from his father, as it was later found out, was what did the trick, and also cast a shadow on his own merit throughout his career, no matter what deeds he'd done.
As stated by himself, a personal regret, a momentary weakness was what drove him to use his family ties, and it was not repeated again.
Throughout his life and career he has been forced to live in the shadow of his father's deeds, despite having an illustrious career.
All this was caused by the legend of Duke Leoncoeur, former Grand Marshall of His Majesty's fleet, who had achieved numerous illustrious victories in the First Council War.
Sinistre did not let that disrupt his concentration, as he enrolled into the fleet as a common soldier, seeing how it doesn't discriminate by bloodlines, at least not on enrollment.
However, accusations of nepotism surrounded young Sinistre throughout his military career, him being forced to work harder and faster than his colleagues, in order to prove his worth to both the world, and himself.
Advancement in his career, and his enrollment itself, was heavily jeopardised by his physical defects - a relic of the spiteful play of nature and genetics.
Despite being below the others in physical strength, he more than made up for it in cunning, mental agility, the ability to command and inspire his men, as well as a daring and cheeky nature challenged by no man.
This can be attributed to his natural predispositions, and rightfully so, but he'd recently been diagnosed with metabolism hyperactivity, a trait dangerous to health, but ideal for a military commander addicted to adrenaline.
Another interesting fact about Margrave Leoncoeur is his quirky habit of going into battles and missions with his soldiers personally when he is not needed on the bridge.
A few times he almost lost his life in the asteroids inhabited by various pirates and criminals, primarily Unione Course.
As always, he pulled himself out somehow.
