Quote:I would assume with the Dreadnought counting as a primary battleship, this would fall into the super capitol ship region of design. More of a statement and symbol of Libertonian engineering and might than anything else.

If we're getting into super-battleships, we need to stop the lolwutters. Given by faction only, or make it cost 3 billion.

Without the battleship license. :nono:

The RP background I have in my head is that the Ulysses class is rather old. These big old dinosaurs are more mobile fortress than a front line vessel. It is defiantly a class of super capital ship, but barge size might be pushing things. It will probably be a little smaller than that, but it will certainly be bigger than a juggernaut.

I am going to finish the engines and attach them. They will make the ship the rough 20% longer and that should help the feeling of stubbyness.

@Turkish: No textures for right now. They do not work when I convert the file to a format GMAX or Milkshape can read.

@frozen: Thank you for the detailed feedback. I had always planned on modeling a Liberty star to the bow but I have been saving it for latter as a finishing touch. I'll try the gun thing, but in my head I was picturing the razor on the front bow of the liberty dread. Each of those platforms on the front mount one of those. Thats how I was thinking in terms of scale, but that can always be adjusted later.

I support super battleships ideas and being admin given only. Not being faction given since indie players also have rights but everyone has to prove the worth. Also Admin given + huggeeee price is a good thing.

Yeah I am going to abandon this. There are several smaller ships that I want to make that a far more useful than this thing. It was started on a whim and took up almost 5 days of my time. Into the trash heap this goes.

EDIT: A moderator lock or preferably a delete would be welcome.

Looks like an impstar... from the front... but then the rear is... just strange. I don't know, it doesn't really have a carrier feel to it, just massive.

It needs a lot more work, and the roundness needs to be a little less round.

But I certainly love where this is going, don't get me wrong.
I've always liked the relatively unexplored art-deco end of Liberty.
