The idea of server police has been discussed before but ultimately shut down. The sanction report section is your best course of action for those situations which you are unable to resolve yourself and having admins pop up around the clock to oversee every little interaction can become a bit intrusive.

I believe all of our skypes are posted and most of us are in a timezone where, if our wide asses are planted behind a screen, we might be able to respond.

Then why dont people do that? Instead of just sitting on the server crying?

We need Hood back really. He was THE model admin that we'd want full time. We also need an admin with some more pew power. Ergo, willing to pew the pewers with their pews.

Even out here in forum land - we still have this little thing called real life.

There issue becomes - if you have 4 or 5 people online full time trying to police things - when do they get to have fun and play the game themselves? I bet you'd be surprised by whether or not an admin is online - as chances are, you don't know all of their online characters. And even when they're not in their admin persona, they're still watching out for what happens.

Just as an example, about 6 months ago I got a PM from out of the blue in game from someone, asking who the forum name for a member of my faction was. Turns out that it was one of our admins - trying to play and enjoy the game - and someone was a jerk to them. The admin actually filed a sanction report - did not participate in the discussion, just filed it - and the evidence was clear. So keep in mind that it's entirely possible that character you're interacting with is an admin.

To hunt the prey is life,
to lose the prey is death,
to hunt the loss is insane...
