This communique is regarding the establishment of a trade route which would directly benefit both our houses, in addition to those already in use by Liberty-based corporations such as Agiera Technologies and Universal Shipping.
As you may or may not know, the Liberty Navy employs a fleet of mammoth class vessels, designation -LNT-, to handle most of its logistical concerns. These vessels are used to supply shipyards with essential materials and frontline warships with the supplies they need to stay operational.
The proposed mutually beneficial trade route would include the delivery of Ship Hull Panels from planet Houston to Yokohama shipyard in exchange for Engine Components bound for Baltimore shipyard. There would then be a short hop inside Liberty for our transports, taking Toxic Waste from Baltimore to Huntsville for processing.
A typical Liberty Navy convoy would include a few escort fighters or bombers, as well as a varying number of mammoth medium transports. We do not employ gunboat or higher class warships as escort craft due to their operating cost and the fact that they can be better deployed elsewhere in Liberty. As a naval force, the Liberty Navy would be responsible for the protection of its own convoys in Kusari, though any help in dealing with local pirate or terrorist forces would be appreciated.
I hope that it is recognised that liscence to use this trade route will benefit both of our houses equally, providing materials needed to maintain and, if neccessary, expand our armed forces to counter relative threats to the sovereignty of our two nations. An agreement of this nature would also serve to strengthen relations between Kusari and Liberty, contradicting recent political commentary of a cold stance between our houses.
