Greetings, mister... 'Pitard', and other esteemed Council members. Reckon, ya'll don't know who I am... who 'we' are...

Allow me to introduce myself. Ya'll can call me Ironwatsas, Administrator of the organization you would call, 'The Consortium'. Not a particularly inspirin' name, I'm sure, but it will suffice for the time being.

Now, enough pleasantries. The reason I am contacting you all, and takin' the time to do so personally, has to do with some of my... soldiers... encountering a trader. Strange ship, strange accent, not from 'Round these parts ya'll can say. Upon questioning, the man told quite the tale, of a whole new nation to the 'north' of Sirius, who he claims is planning an invasion...

This is consistent with our own reconnaissance and intelligence... We know you're there. We know you're fighting.

This trader, directed me to a mister... Pitard. But for practical reasons, this is a secure transmission to whomever on your... 'Reunion' holds the credentials to see to it.

Now, I'm a very busy man... if ya'll can still call me that... But, I am willing to take the time to hear what you have to offer, and ask ya'll 'just what is goin' on up there?'

Thing is, I have heard a lot of doomsday prophecies. Lot of people say I'm runnin' one. I've heard claims of an invasion, and I've heard a lot of obvious exaggerations. And it has aroused my curiousity. Just where would a whole new bunch o' people suddenly appear? And just who is runnin' the show up there?

Now, those however aren't the only questions I have.

You must know, your 'Reunion' is close to an active warzone. The nations of Kusari and Bretonia. Ya'll have seen and talked to both parties...

Y'see, we are currently in a state of open conflict with Kusari. We have our reasons, an end to corruption, an end to the war, to save humanity from itself, all that jazz. There are other reasons, lots of reasons. No conflict has a simple cause.

'Cause of this, and because of the perceived threats, and clear opportunities, I'm offering an olive branch. I still have lot of serious questions regarding your... interactions... with Kusari, Among other things, of course.

To answer them, I have taken the Liberty of sending an Ambassador to your base.

Should you have an official ambassador, speaker, leader, whatever you so choose to send? We would be very much interested in more formal, and more indepth communication. So I ask you, mister Pitard, or whomever else seeks to speak...
