I play openSP so I can explore the new stuff without having to worry about breaking the server rules, and in order to accomplish that, I actively hunt the most powerful ships I can pilot so I don't get blasted to itty-bitty pieces the moment I go through a jump hole.
So I turn to the Spatial, which has the highest stats of any fighter in the mod and apply the best armor add-ons and shields I can find.
Now, the problem is is that half the time I cannot undock from quite a few stations. Most notably stationary Bretonian Battlecruisers and some small stations. It gets stuck on the moving doors and gets trapped, forcing me to revert to a save at a station I CAN undock from.
The next best fighter is the Rhineland Mjollnir, so my question is, does that get stuck at all?
So I come to ask the question, are there any plans to make it so the Spatial doesn't get stuck anymore?
Or at least make it known that it does occationally get stuck?
And do guard systems in the OpenSP part of the mod require IDs to acess without getting blown to bits by groups that are otherwise friendly with you? My next solution is to get a battlecruiser, and the one I want to use is in Omega-56, which appears to be a Bounty Hunter guard system. I don't last too long there right now.
Not a problem. And reportedly, larger ships have even more survivability problems in hostile space. I wouldn't know too much about that, I usually stick with light fighters.
All I know is that my Spatial got shredded where my Scimitar has escaped unharmed.
If you are just using it to test ships, i would suggest using IONCROSS Charachter Editor, it will speed up the process to no end, i'll find a link to Seths FL pack that has it in a sec.
