i've been feeling the exact same way, mostly just to have arguments with my crew over system chat and shout words like "starboard" and "Open the pod bay doors HAL":P

i'd say the hessian cruiser is the way to go, you can get a decent amount of traffic through their space, plus corsairs and some good RP with RM.

RHA sounds like a nice choice, good population of players over on that side (Regarding RHA, SCRA, Corsairs, etc.) I'll make a Hessian and walk around, see what I like. I'm not sure if I want to make an official faction capital ship though, nor would most factions accept that of recruits.

Another question. Zoner's build massive capital ships capable of total destruction, but are 'exploratory.' Are they someone who would sell capitals to groups through RP to non Zoners? Obviously a story would be in order, but just askin'

Why don't you join a faction like BAF, RM or somethin' and see if they need a battleship pilot?

Regarding the RM: Forget about it. You need to reach a very high rank in order to fly a cruiser. Battleships are only allowed for... let's say five people in the faction. (Out of 54)

Get an indy BS and RP well.
