Perhaps two 9 slots and four 8.

nah, the mounts where they are are okey, otherwise it'd have the same weaponry as the eagle.
and i'd so much prefer having less guns but some powerplant love to fire them longer.

*sigh* I am pretty sure I suggested that Falcon needs to be upgraded to a proper HF in 4.85 development (as a dev to other devs)... It should get the proper gun mounts, shield and some armour buff to reach the level of other HFs.
