The space outside malta was quiet as normal, few Bounty hunters had tried there luck against the array of outcast patrols. As Bernard stared blindly into space, bored setting in hours before, we wondered what he would do once he got home, relax in his spa, go for a walk, hmm so many things.

As he rounded Malta twords the Docking Ring, something caught his eye, a ship, a big one, but only for a second as the Glare of Maltas star eclipsed it, fearing the worst he accelerated to top speed preparing for an attack. But something was Different, I didn't seem to be attacking any of the patrols. Then, odly it was painted all black, except for the blast holes in the armour and scars for countless battles.

Then it hit him, he reckognized this ship, hadn't seen it in almost two years, its the Pearl!

" And that means, if The pearls here then shes here too! "

Landing so fast that He nearly crashed into the spaceport landing dech, Bernard jumped out of his cockpit, and dashed to the ground control Terminal, nocking over several people in the halls he barged in, catching everyone off guard, " Has any ships landed that came from the Black pearl! " he yelled to the entire room.

" Yes " muttered a man in the back, " A Rhino landed about twenty minutes before you got here. " Bernard punched his fist into the wall. " ****! " and dashed back down the hall running for the Starport Exit.

Ill try her house, shes gotta be going there

When he Arrived, there was little activety at Dona Pryde's Villa, all that were there where Feild works and site Overseers. He ran around back, hoping for anything when in the Distance he saw three figures. Running as fast as his legs could take him, he dashed for the three figures.

Two he didn't reckognize, one was a male about his height with short black hair, the other, a girl, with Wild Blonde hair but the young women in the middle.

" Kristy! "

He yelled with what little breath he had left, The young women turned around, and instanly he knew, those soft caring eyes, that beaming smile, it was her, after two years without a trace, Dona Kristina Pryde had returned home....

The artificial night was replacing the short simulated rainy day on the Corsica Asteroid. All went silent as a massive shadow passed over. The Santa Ana class Dreadnoughts were still a new sight. The Captana undocked to leave for it's assigned guard position in the Omicron-85 system - the newly found Nomad Gate that recently activated in the Austera and the new Nomad threat pouring in.

They were not so great in numbers. The Nomads seemed interested in the Razgriz. The Black Hole was attracting them literally like moths to a candle. They would fly straight into it exploding into one thousand glittering points of light. Of course, on their way to the Razgriz, the Nomads were attacking anything that stood in their way - until they came into visual range of the Black Hole. Then they started running for it ignoring everything else and performing the 'one thousand points of glittering lights show'.

It was a weird way to behave, even for a Nomad...

If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov
The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor

Kristy smiled and turned towards the source of the familiar voice. 'Bernard!' she thought. The other two accompanying her looked at eachother in silence and turned towards the man in a black leather coat. The Duke of Corsica regained his posture and was walking slowly with an angry expression on his face towards the trio not taking his eyes off the woman in the middle.

They started walking towards eachother.

'You petty worthless pirate!' Kristy said with obvious anger in her voice.
'Give me the best you got b*tch!' Bernard replied 'You can use a good spank!'

They both slowly reached for their dual side-arms. By the time the blasters got drawn, they reached point-blank range. Kristy and Bernard were nearly touching eachother's forehead with the barrels. The Silence was deafening. Only the flapping of their coats in the wind could be heard... They both burst into laughter. Four metallic thumps were silenced by the ground on which they fell as the two embraced each other.

'How long has it been? A year? Two? What cloaking device were you using, not even a single sign of life from you?'
Kristy looked up into the Malta sky 'Ummm... where to begin?'
'Nasty as usual' he laughed 'You'll submit the report over a drink. Come!'

They both went towards the Villa closely followed by the temporarily forgoten pair...

On the opposite side of the system, a lone Sabre was passing by the Graveyard in the Siniestre. It picked a fight with the Nomad fighter wing making a short work of them.

The Sabre entered cruise with it's hold full of Alien Organisms while the pilot was singing his lungs out 'Let's play Master and Servant! Let's play...'...

A green burst of light was shooting through the viewscreens of the restored Hispania's bridge. Abanoned again, the sleeper ship was a silent hulk among the debris. A dream about leaving the Golden Prison.

The dark figure appeared in the doorframe and walked towards the navigation control post. He stopped there running his fingers over the touch-pads raising his gaze up towards the viewscreens, towards the Omicron Alpha's green sun touching Malta's atmosphere. A wonderful stillness hung over the planet bathing in the bright green flames.

'It can be so peaceful.' Bernard thought as he was running through the status reports of his NeuralNet link.
