Run Messaing Program
Run Command "To"
Message to "Battlestar Galactica"
CommID: Lope Rainerio aboard The Almada

The attack on Tau 44 was a violent response to you destroying one our Dromedary pilots in Tau 31 recently today. Anymore attacks like this will result in a full out war between our two factions.

Think before you act.

Rainerio out

End Message
Run Command "Send"
Message Sent
Terminate Program

OOC: yyyaaa..... Needed some sort of RP for this message.

Anyway, would you like to know the reason why we brought it caps today in Tau 44? We were actually going to bring 100% fighters instead. But then you both logged in cap ships, so we thought strategically and switched to Caps as well thinking you knew we were coming. But the time we got to Tau 23 you went back to Fighters.. So please don't flame for us using cap ships. We were only thinking smart.

Cali dispatched a wing of fighters to delay the IMG pursuers but to no avail. After a Perlonged chase, pilots in the Tau-29 to Tau-31 Jumpgate in the Tau-29 system reported a dromedary being cut off from a tradelane entry by two IMG fighters, as It attempted to flee in Cruise to the Gate, it was Hit by a CD, and was thus destroyed by a passing Kusari Destroyer Group. Didn't fire one shot that time. And neither did Doom.

The console said you were killed by NPCs. Of which the KNF ones were abundant in the area.

You were chased, because you failed to state your intentions in Tau-23.

All these supplies have been ferried safely to Java base. Passengers safe and free, Other cargo is in the mentioned station's storage.

Since when do the BSG have the right to police Tau-23? I don't think so.

If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov
The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor

OOC:
IMG, (and that means =BSG= too) don't like Outcasts very much and conflicts between us are inevitable, so we will attack each other in pretty much any system...and we didn't police anything...we only asked BP ship for its alignment...also Tau 44 is our system so we have some influence on surrounding systems (not guard ones). Not big, but still some.
When we asked BP ship to say alignment we didn't know that it was outcast vessel (white on hud and too far for scanners)...until she switched to GoR char.

Quote:So please don't flame for us using cap ships. We were only thinking smart.

You had enough fighters to give us nice fight so no need for flame or anything else...our Battleships were in Tau 44 but it was our choice to fight with fighters. We were over powered even in our Bstars so we choosed to go down with style.

IC:

Comm ID: Ambassador Vladimir Abelard, aboard BSG-62 Pegasus
To: Outcasts and their allies Phantoms

Any Outcast ship caught in scanner range with in any BSG vessel will be destroyed, no questions asked. In any system, in whole Sirius. Our mining operations will not be interrupted by you and we will make all efforts we can to ensure that our miners are safe.

Do not threat us with war. We don not respond well to threats. We are peaceful, mostly neutral faction, but if any body attacks us we will respond with deadly force. Although we are small miner organization, and Phantoms and GoR can raise bigger fleet, we know how to fight superior enemie. Do not make mistake and declare open war. Our status will remain hostile, until you say different.

Message end.

Right before this goes of on one ... The GoR received information concerning the destruction of a small transport
vessel aligned with them. Now being the hot headed and protective lot that they are, the usual 'shoot first and
ask questions later' tactic was deployed. That is the way.
Fighters were launched to deal with the situation, with one cruiser to run interference, knowing full well that the
incident would be taking place in Tau 44, and fighters having to deal with the BSG, and 8 to 12 nasty old gaurd
eagles was going to be hard.
Your switch to capital class ships caused a re-think, one fighter re-docked, and swapped to another cruiser. Your
switch back to fighters happened when we were already well on our way. Then you did call for assistance from
a KNF cruiser aswell ...
The Phantom appearance was a just another tactical backup move. If you note the updated faction diplomacy
for them, the GoR are their only 'friends', and thats pretty loosely put. Then again the Outcasts throughout the
whole of the Phantom's existance have been their only 'allies', due the less human aspect of their genetic
makeup.
So in all, it was a damn good skirmish, my own cruiser taking damage twice from being mobbed by the gaurd,
and returned home with no botts and batts on board. This did give our fighters a better chance in the engagement.
It was my choice to draw the flak. The other cruiser actively engaged you giving you the chance of six fighter
deaths in all.
Sorry you guys had lag and connection problems through out the whole thing. Please just say next time and we
can all re-group and start when its a bit clearer.
No complaints whatsoever from me and the others. The GoR in roleplay are fierce and mean. We take no
prisoners and when the chips are down, expect no quarter given either.
Our tactics were sound for the long range scanner information gleaned at the beginning. We expected
battlestars, and got a reprieve. Like you said, it was your choice to switch, we didn't have the option by then.
