I have this program called JoyToKey.

I aslo have an Xbox 360 controller.

JoyToKey is hard to set up in my opinion. I'd LOVE it if someone made a joytokey profile with an xbox 360 controller, for freelancer, not with typing of course, but with flying, looking around, shooting, cruise disrupters, SNACS, with all that stuff.

I'd guess I'll pay 5mill credits to the person who does it. Thank you.

I haven't done this with JoyToKey, but there is a similar program called Pinnacle Game Profiler, which I demonstrated in this topic:

There's a pre-built configuration and all the instructions you need there. Sorry, but I just don't use JoyToKey.

There's also Xpadder, which you can make any custom config you want. I tried it once but it was rather hard to fly with an Xbox controller, because a thumbpad just isn't the same as a mouse when it comes to aiming.

I do quite okay with an optical trackball. Has nothing to do with JoyToKey though.

I've tried it with the Wii's Classic Controller once. Can't say I was satisfied, though. Really, if you're used to keyboard and mouse setup in Freelancer, you will have a hard time (at least in the beginning) with a controller.
