Incoming Transmission

Target ID: Liberty Rogue Crime Boss
Comm ID:Thomas Anderson, Buccaneer Lieutenant
Subject: Matters still unattended

Good day,

Seems ye chap's have been quiet recently. Regardin' the treaty or pact we were tryin' t' establish. For the good of the Buccaneers and the Rogues, I wish t' continue our talks and establish ports of trade.

Our terms we were about to agree on are listed below.
  • Open Ports of trade between both Rogues and Buccaneers
  • Escort between Buccaneer and Rogue defined space.
  • Rogue expansion into Manchester
  • Ammunition and Weapon Surplus.
  • Buccaneer expansion into Cortez.
  • Joint Smuggling Operations
  • Ship Surplus (One or two Barghests)
I do believe that we were nearly at an agreement, before Miss Yotaka went quiet over the communications.

I will leave this transmission open for further discussion. Unless ye chaps wish t' come t' the Leviathan and have a meetin' with the Cap'n himself.

Well, since I am being the new Crime Boss now I finally got the copies of those Transmission between the Buccaneers and Liberty Rogues.

Same as Ashes, I dont really see a problem here. It's fine for us, it's fine for you. I think I even saw the Fools Gold a few times. Regarding the Barghests, I think it would be much better if you ask the Molly Republic, shipping those Ships from the Kusarian Borderlines into Bretonia would be expensive and too dangerous.

Somehow Cortez didnt show up in those older Transmission, can I know why there is a sudden mention of a Buccaneer Expansion into that System?

Re: Old Agreement

Thank ye for yer fast response, Mr. White. I'm glad to see that our proposal meets with yer approval. On the issue of expansion into Cortez, I believe that Mr. Anderson thought it would be a fair counterpoint for Rogue expansion into Manchester. Even if it's approved, I doubt we'll be there very often. For the most part, we operate in Leeds and Cambridge, and only occasionally go elsewhere, as the situation requires. In fact, I'm willin' to knock that particular counter off the table if it's that much of a concern. I don't want to hold up an entire deal over one minor issue.

As for the Barghest issue, we'd be willin' to handle the transport ourselves. We'd ask the Mollys, but I'm afraid they treat us as neutral, but untrustworthy, and are unlikely to be willin' to sell us even a couple Barghests. If yer willin', we'd rather do business with you.

Captain Henry Morgan

Well, I honestly dont care if you start operating in Cortez. Just dont mock around with any Smugglers transporting Slaves or Cardamine.

I thought you got a better wire towards the Molly Republic, well then I'd you can have one or two Barghests. But better give them to a trained Pilot, we ourselves dont let them into a recruit's hands. Aswell remember you'll need 3 Pilots for each Barghest. The last thing is to be careful, the Barghest is a pretty expensive Beast. I do expect some payment towards our Armoury if you get yourself the Barghests and some Gunnery.

Re: Old Agreement

I'm glad we could come to an agreement. Any Barghests we do get will be limited to the upper ranks anyway, so you need not worry about untrained pilots getting themselves killed. We'd be glad to send a bit of extra payment your way as well, for each one. Just let us know how much, and where to send it, and we'll take care of that.

Ah, so we are close to the agreement. The barghests, considering my current amount of Recruits I have to count them in too, they'll probably get some Barghests aswell. I'd say a maximum of four Barghests should be fine for you.

If you want more you will have to contact me again some other time. Four Barghests are the highest amount we can send towards Bretonia now. I think if you can pay me 15.000.000 Credits for each Barghest including the Gunnery it would be enough. Just send the cash to our Armoury, the callsign is LR-Armoury.001.

Re: Old Agreement

Sir, your terms are acceptable. Unless there's anything else to add, then as far as I'm concerned, then we have an accord.
