Gallic Brigands

I have this urge to fill my last character spot with a Gallic Brigand. Oh the romance and the danger of it all....coughs....Anyway, can anybody currently with a Brigand character tell me the best way to go about creating a character and point me in the right direction of learning the rp. I have read a lot so have the basics ( i think ) but i think the best way would be a current player to fill in all the complexities of it all.

Take the bribe on the Junker base in Languedoc.
Then read the FBG faction description to learn something about the Brigands. Of course, you should also read the Infocards of the Brigand bases, they tell you many things.
And then, joing the Free Brigands of Gallia, they are some good boys.
