Stokes Station, Leeds System

Today the Kusari Naval Forces fought off a massive attack on Kusari occupied Stokes Station in the Leeds system. Reports from the battlefield say that the Kusari forces were led by the Battleship Ein, supported by other KNF forces in the area, as well as unconfirmed reports that a Samura mafic called the Ironical Masterwork threw himself into the fray, against orders of the KNF, and helped to save the Station.



Reports confirm the attacking force was composed of both Phantom and Consortium ships. The mysterious group that has come to be known by Sirius as the Phantoms, have been reported involved in attacks like this for years, but the Consortium, a little known group, previously only known to operate in Kusari and it's border worlds has been brought to the forefront with this attack. Little is known about them, except for their connections to the Outcasts and the Golden Chrysanthemums, and this is the first time they have been reported to be active outside of Kusari itself. That along with the fact that they were operating with Phantom forces will certainly bring a new focus on this group and it's intentions in Sirius,



Int the end, the Kusari Naval Forces suffered no losses, while taking out several Phantom and Consortium snub craft, forcing the two remaining Phantom ships to withdraw, licking their wounds. It is believed that the Commander of the Ein with receive a commendation from the Emperor for the actions of his crew during this New Years Day attack.
