Greetings everyone,

This is a very small little request from me, but the Class 8 and 9 Death's Hand Order weapons currently have a drawback of a 5.88 refire rate than 8.33 like all the ones before those two have. There's really no reason for these two to have a slower rate of fire. I'm just making a small suggestion that you increase the rate of fire to 8.33 and decrease the damage accordingly. (I'm sure a senior member of this forum is going to give me some reason why we shouldn't do this.) Currently the Death's Hand Mk IV just plainly bites compared to the other class 8 laser cannons (it only does 124/62 with 5.88 refire, Hessian's Natterturn does 152/76). Perhaps the Mk IV can deal 110/55 with 40 energy use, and the Mk V deal 230/115 with 73 energy use.

I'm fairly sure this is going to be shot down but it has always bugged me why my top tier faction's weapons don't have the same rate of fire as the classes below it. Not to mention, no other faction's class 8 or 9 weaponry suffers from a rate of fire decrease other than The Order. If there is another faction who does I'd like to see who it is.

Ascendency, seems you have spent a little time on the stats there. Best place for this as a suggestion would
be the Balance issues thread.
Good work ...

Thanks Hoodlum, I hope someone notices it and takes it into consideration. But if I get no attention here I'll go put it up in the balance and suggestions thread.

1 thing you may have missed is that, if I am not mistaken the Hessians weapon uses alot more energy than the Orders one meaning it puts them in a balance.

Or I got it compleatly wrong and look stupid (nothing new there)

I've been mildly miffed by one-shot weapons since their implementation, oh so long ago. I remember the days when fights were a matter of who could aim better, rather than who could aim a single shot. - Virus

Actually, Death's Hand Mk V uses 10 more power than the Natterturn Zwei. (100 vs 90.) But still it does not make sense the Death's Hands that came before the IV and V fire faster (not slower, I'm stupid:P).

You do see the validity in my point though, don't you? It will never make sense Death's Hands Mk I, II, and III have an 8.33 rate of fire and the Mk IV and V have a 5.88 rate of fire. And still NO other faction's top tier weapons have a slower rate of fire than the ones that preceded them. (As in, the Farmers' Alliance Vulture 4 doesn't fire at 2.00 instead of 3.03 like the Vulture 1, 2, and 3 does.)

I would like to add that you are right Kiggles, the Natterturn uses 60 energy per shot vs. the Death's Hand Mk IV's 45.
