Message to: Leaders of NovaPG and Bushido

To our valiant foes in the Northern Provinces:
I will be blunt. House Kusari's Monarchy and Parliament is currently experiencing consternation and confusion.
The recent deaths of our Ambassador and Nadiro, our Fleet Admiral, were a great loss to Kusari's leadership. Even more recently, we have lost contact with our Chief Tactical Officer, Captain Seiji Nebotuda.
There are rumors that Capt. Nebotuda may have uncovered a plot to assassinate the Emperor of Kusari; and that he may be a victim of foul play because of his discovery and knowledge. We do not know. We continue to search for Nebotuda-san, and to investigate his disappearance.
All of this has put our Military Forces in a state of turmoil. We have lost many pilots who have lost faith in our cause. This is very unfortunate, because now would be the ideal time to strike at our Bretonian foes to the south. They are stretched thin on all sides. The Mollys plague them from the west. Corsairs plunder from the Omegas. They must help their friends the SA against the Hellfire Legion. A rapid reorganization and rebuilding of our KNF forces at this time would most assuredly turn the tide of the Bretonian/Kusari War.
However, I must be honest. At present, the KNF can not fight a war on two fronts at once in our current state. Therefore, I am asking you to open negotiations over a possible cease-fire between our Factions.
I have approached the Parliament and the Corporations. They see the wisdom of this request.
House Kusari and the KNF are willing to offer concessions on a temporary basis, which I will not discuss over this unsecured frequency. We would ask some small concessions from your Clans as well, as a gesture of good faith. While we cannot openly and permanently concede your claims as the rightful leaders of Kusari Space; we can offer at least a temporary cessation of hostilities, and further talks on matters of long-term diplomacy.
Please contact me via secure channels of your choosing if you would like to enter Cease-fire negotiations. Within 48 hours, I can place our Flagship, the Tawakemono, at our disposal for talks; at a time and place of your choosing. She will come alone. I will wear the white sash of truce when we meet.
I must delay our meeting slightly, Sir. It appears that there are certain elements within Kusari who wish to "second-guess" my request to sit down with you and your Bushido allies.
It is but a minor irritant, which I will deal with rapidly.
I speak for the Emperor and KNF. If Katana wishes to get their kimonos in a knot over my decision, it will be dealt with in short order.
I ask two days before our meeting in Hokkaido. I will contact you with a more concrete time shortly.
And, Intoxication, we "beg" for nothing except the opportunity to vanquish one foe at a time. Any more such slurs, and the order of those actions might be negotiated on other fronts. Only a slight possibility, but it would be wise for both of us to be aware that it exists.
