[font=Verdana]Construction is finally complete on the latest project of Zoner multi-billionaire, Mark Snow, founder and CEO of Snow Space. Snow rose to prominence as a masterful trader, utilizing the famed neutrality of his faction to broker lucrative deals and institute thriving trade routes which have become the envy of his rivals. Over the past decade, the Snow development team have been responsible for several innovations in the science of deep space trading and hauling including the much anticipated Pirate in My Pocket series of modified tractor beams designed to pull hostile pilots directly from their cockpit to your cargo hold [still in development].

And now, Snow Space continues to further its mission of heavier, faster, more profitable with the christening of its first state of the art research vessel, the |RV|Perspicacious. A small, private ceremony was held as the ship began its maiden voyage directly after completion at Baltimore Shipyard. The ship is a highly modified Enterprise L-584 Liner. Though externally indistinguishable from her sister ships, the interior of the |RV|Perspicacious is a research scientist's dream. Fully equipped laboratories and astronomical observation facilities to rival the finest science stations in Sirius make this ship a shrine to the inquisitive.

The primary function of the |RV|Perspicacious and her crew will be the study of the relatively common phenomenon of Jump Holes. Surprisingly little is know regarding the stability and function of these indispensable natural occurrences. Jump Gate technology, though similar, requires enormous expenditure of resources, time, and energy. We at Snow Space feel a better understanding of the Jump Hole phenomenon could lead to cheaper, faster, perhaps even portable jump technologies.

Dr. Sharon Dendry has been chosen as the lead researcher and Science Officer aboard the |RV|Perspicacious. Dr. Dendry has a great deal of experience studying astronomical phenomena. Her most recent post on board Ames Research Station allowed her to study, and author several seminal papers concerning, dark matter and the Kepler clouds. Originally hailing from Planet Manhattan in the New York system, Dr. Dendry was drawn to the Zoners' neutrality among the various factions of Sirius and the benefits to pure research such neutrality would offer. She is honored and excited to be trusted with this very important mission.

In command of the |RV|Perspicacious will be Captain Jeff Randall. Cpt. Randall, in his own words, was born, bred, and will die a Zoner. The pioneering spirit of his family is alive and well in the Captain. He was chosen for his dedication to the principles of neutrality, his extensive experience in command of Snow Space trade vessels, and a deep and abiding curiosity regarding the depths of Sirian space.

The |RV|Perspicacious is currently making trial voyages through Liberty, Bretonia, and the Taus, rounding out her crew and taking on supplies for her extended mission throughout Sirius.
