No really. I took off from Erie in my brand new Rhino, expecting to see space filled and bustling with transports. Instead, it's empty. Lonely.
Still, it's supposedly profitable. I headed straight to the Helium Cloud near Erie, where apparently I could harvest the gas to sell to certain people. That was good and well. I settled in for some hard, honest work, and managed to fill my hold in a few hours. I headed back to Erie, where a guy said he knew someone who would buy the Helium. I got the contact details and headed to Philidelphia Station, to meet the buyer.
He seemed somehow important, and the deal was done quickly, myself undocking with a nice hefty wallet. I decided to put another few hours in collecting, make a bit more cash. On my way back to Philidelphia, I was contacted by a transport captain. From what I could gather he was looking for people to join his... Guild of sorts. Deep Traders they were called, or something to that effect. Something about him seemed off, so I dodged the offer and continued my way. He wired a nice bonus my way for some reason. It was more than I got payed!
This time, after once again getting the Helium off my hands, I was approached by a member of the Police department, Liberty Police Inc. He'd apparently seen me on patrol, and said that the Force was always looking for new members. We chatted for a while, and he left me his contact details. I didn't give him a solid answer, but said I'd contact him after I'd thought about it.
I'm actually seriously considering it. The pay is half decent, and it's more exciting than this Rhino. End Log
