• As the LSF was running recon missions throughout Rheinland after the nomad war and before the next war between the two houses, it detected a small and well hidden base of the Bundschuh movement in the Bremen system. The same system that houses the heavily guarded Munster Research Base of the MND - a station that Navy High Command wants to have conquered or destroyed at all costs.
  To achieve this goal in case of the conventional forces not being able to push the front lines of this system belt into Bremen within this year, High Command ordered to take over the Bundschuh base as part of a backdoor-door strategy that would result in a surprising blitz bombing run on the MND station and destroy it before the defenses would be able to react.
  Several attempts of navy squadrons to slip through the front lines in order to assault the Bundschuh base have failed. However, on rare occasions, a hand full of fighters manages to make the jump and to escape Rheinland search parties with a company of marines aboard an armored transport. What the navy squads thought to be a cake walk, however, turned out to become a fight for life and death as the Bundschuh's defenses were tougher than estimated.
