"personel and citizens of freeport 11 in omicron delta rejoice. The Battleship PERSEPHONE (name is still being painted on its armored hull) has been stationed in this sector for protection of all peaceful traders and to ensure that open hostilities won t happen close to the station!
Allready safe from occasional Nomad Raid forces, protected from the minor asteroid fields, there has still been hostilities reported between outcasts and corairs and the bountyhunters guild. we can t have that. how easily could an astray projectile damage or penetrate the structure of freeport 11.
so the PERSEPHONE is on guard duty to ensure the peace around the station.
no authority claims are being made towards other parts of the sector but a security line around the station itself. we will ensure the freedom of trade and the freedom of moving to and from the station, no matter who you are or where you come from. mind you, firing your weapons when the station is in range will be a violation and you ll be asked to carry your arguments to a more distant place than the closer station boundaries.
As a sidenote, no - Zoner - trader shall be asked for a tax or being attacked and hurt while on her/his way from the omicron minor jumphole to the station, that is if they are going straight to dock at FP11. Other peaceful traders enjoy the protection of the station, but will have to make the flight around omicron on their own responsibility"
