Current Status: Admiral of the Sirius Federation

Previously a researcher for the Cambridge Research Insititute (CRI), Firebird had obtained his combat flying skills not through training but his own experience. His work often required lone travel to research sites across Sirius, typically through hostile territory. With expertise as an engineer, he spent his time fiddling with gagets and gismos when he could. However, his tinkering for fun ended with the Nomad's take-over of the HMCS-Magnificent and its collision into Manhatten (See RP Story: Hidden Cargo). With devising defenses against the Nomads becoming CRI's primary concern, the Sirius Federation took an interest in CRI's developments and soon a partnership was established. With the death of Captain Achilles, one of Firebird's close friends, in the Phantom's attack of New Berlin (See RP Story: The Hunted), Firebird joined the SF in hopes of avenging both his friend's death and those of the people killed in the attack on Manhatten.

With both technical and administrative skills acquired from leading various research teams, Firebird progressed through the ranks eventually becoming Admiral upon the retirement of several high-ranking members and a complete shake-up of the SF High Command. Admiral Firebird continues to lead the Sirius Federation, but is increasingly finding himself tied to his desk more than his fighter. He longs for his researcher days when things were simpler and his responsibilities fewer, but knows that his duties as Admiral is something others have come to depend upon. He accepts his role in the SF, working for the protection of Bretonia and its citizens to the best of his abilities.
