Unless further progress is to be made, I am done with this matter. I will monitor this channel, but I will not make any responses unless there is something of importance instead of this childing name-calling.
Legion Executive Commander Mori out.

Tannik shook his head. A fine mess, he thought. The moment he had finally gotten the comm array back online he had been flooded with communications, most of them angry, and all about some nomad ship hanging out in Vespucci. Or whatever it is. The exact nature of the...thing...wasn't exactly clear either. One thing for sure, this area of space was likely to be extra hot for a while, and that made his mission just that much more complicated.
Tannik sat and thought about what implications this had for him...and what to do next.

I'll be interested to know how you hacked a transmission to the Order of all people... But that is for another time.
I feel sullied just talking with you, so I will be brief; Unlike you, the House of Liberty was elected and popularly supported. The people decided to have those money-grubbers as their leaders, much as our people support the election of planetary governors, mayors, and sundry other minor officials, and the rare occasions where a new Chancellor is elected. I may not agree with their choice, but that is the one -they- made.
-You- are not popularly supported. -You- are a rouge officer with a grudge. You have no revolution on your behalf, no underground movement of an unsatisfied people. Your men are cutthroats, theives, and dissatisfied traitors. Yes, traitors. They follow -you,- and not the House they swore to serve, uphold, and protect.
Have you ever been in ground-side combat, Thastus? No, I thought not. You're a navy man. Well, Mr.Thastus, I have. On the ground, war truly gains meaning. Do -not- presume to lecture me on the Truth of War; I know it far better then you can imagine.
Allow me to remind you of an age-old maxim of the armed forces; "Ours is not to wonder why; Ours is just to do or die." You seem to have forgotten it, so let me explain. It is not the place of the soldier to decide what is right or wrong. It is not the place of the soldier to call up arms and break away from the House he or she swore to uphold. It is not the place of the soldier to make policy. What -is- the place of the soldier, is to follow orders, defend their House with their lifes, and never turn their back on it.
You, "sir," are not a soldier. You are a traitor, Thastus. And I will not besmirch myself or my uniform by associating with your kind any longer.

"Never claimed to be a Soldier...but it would seem that as per usual the Liberty propaganda wheels have gotten to your head. I was betrayed not vice versa, I have been here since Liberty began. And to say I never fought in ground combat is Ludicrous! I fought against the Coalition marauders centuries ago, I sent over ten thousand to the their graves! Blood on my hands to protect a sniviling society of cowards! The people of Liberty may have voted for their scumbags... but the corruption stems far deeper than politians Admiral. Well do what you will, hide your head in the sand be my guest. But when it comes down to the wire and Liberty is holding Sirius by the throat... you'll know that I was right.
Oh and for the record Kreig, should I ever win over Liberty and see their government destroyed... I will not be the one taking over for their government. I am not some sad dictator, but then why am I bothering? You are a stone cold individual incapable of being convinced. I shall not waste any more of my time..."
Sebastian could not help but be amused by the chaotic chatter that he was listening to. Probably nothing new would happen. The hellfire legion would attack the liberty forces, and the liberty forces would attack vespucci, wherever that was. He was never that great at stellar navigation. But really, people did not like conflict for the most part. He doubted that there would be a great war started over this. Increased hostilities, maybe, but other groups concerned for the most part with their preservation? No, they would not join in open war.
This Taruvi was interesting. A human in a nomad ship? Was that possible? He shook is head and chuckled to himself.
"We might not be as alone as we think my friend." he muttered as he stroked the strange blue creature draped across his controll console. The creature whiffled and clicked a few timed in response.
"Look for him? No, not yet. Not until things have cooled down a bit. Besides, what of that other task we have? We cannot forget that."
