Not much is known about Kress who is predicted to have gained his combat skills in his adventurous younghood when he spent years as a freelancer nearly in every corner of Sirius. At the age of 17, his application was accepted by the Rheinland Military Academy in Frankfurt. However, Kress worked for the protection of Rheinland by somehow involving in the backstage of military affairs. After 7 years of service he went missing leaving a bunch of rumours behind.
Before the nomadic infestation, he was revealed to be leading the Outcast presence and the so called wing 'Razor One' in Tau-23. Kress also aided the Order to manipulate progress in Kusari for a considerable time, by arranging organization calls with secret operatives. His mysterious connection with the Order high command is still an issue that researchers dispute about.
Shortly after Dresden's corruption by the hand of infested ex-military, he began to work for the Liberty Navy where he reached the Admiral rank after several years of service.
Despite his commitment, he was soon deserted by the brass against squabbles of envy and the arrogant new generation, which made him retire from active duty and return back to his homeland with the invaluable secrets of Liberty Navy.
Yet, Rheinland was not where he ended up with. He disappeared without a word shortly after assasinating the chancellor's cousin Uwe Reinhardt. Only thing left behind him now are two heavily damaged vessels and scrapped equipment which were found in a wreckage around Freeport I. Inner sources indicate the possibility that Kress might be dwelling at a secret base of his own on planet Toledo.
