What was before? The feeling of something there on the edge of thought... but then gone...

a large station floats in space. the feeling of a name floating continuously from the station... "The Shrine" Var is docked in the shrine!

.... wait.... Var..... who is Var? .... ... Var is Var!

Var reaches out with Var's mind sensing what is around him... there is something inside him... a form, a shape.... There are more shapes like this inside the Shrine. Var listens to them. They communicate in different ways..... but wait.... one says to speak up because they can not hear.

.... Hear... what is this?

The shapes do not share their minds with each other. The shapes use a different means. Var continues to watch this shapes. They identify themselves as human. they communicate with audible tones through .... They call it a mouth... Wait... outside The Shrine.... more communicate... they use radio waves and other waves which Var can sense... From mouth to a piece of a metal box.... ***Wonder*** Such different metal boxes! There are many that come and go while Var sits and listens inside the comforting enclosure in a small pocket of The Shrine.

The shape.. no the human inside him has started to be absorbed into Var. Those on the Shrine call what Var is a Nomad Morph.

Var is a Nomad Morph.

Var spends an unknown amount of time listening and feeling and learning about the humans. Time is something Var does not know so the duration of his learning at the start is unknown.

The humans unknowingly teach Var much about themselves and how they act and communicate. They speak of such a violent outside. Var wants to learn about Nomad Morphs because that is what Var is. But the humans only speak of Nomads in cryptic tones seeming to not know much and only desiring to know more. This seems to be the reason they reside or visit The Shrine.
