Note about Virage

Legeonation wishes to change the Virage model, so he advises not to buy the ship in the new beta - until it's fixed.

I have no idea how to enforce this, since the ship is already available for public sale, but if you wish to avoid possible further problems, please wait if you wish to get the Virage.

this is probably a stupid question since these posts are from 2007, but can you buy it now? I ask because i notice the model still has the two large cannons on it in the ship preview screen before you buy it, so i presumed it hasn't been changed yet, also i haven't seen any flying around. (or is there another reason for this?)

My Freelancer character flies a Virage. One of the few on the server, it has a huge hitbox. PvP l33tz0rzs don't like it.
