The presense finaly receaded to what was assumed to be it's standard strength. DarkStar smiled.
"I'm glad we can trust you. Let's get you outfitted first, and then we'll continue onwards."
He stood and moved to the door.
"Oh, and i've got a bit of a suprise for you at Crete. We'll make a little side-trip there to pick it up for you. Untill then, make yourself comfortable and don't hesitate to ask for anything." He stuck his head out the door and nabbed a passing ensign.
"Show Captian Virus to his quarters."
"Aye sir! Captain, if you'll follow me?"
DarkStar began to walk away, but paused for a second. "I'm transmitting the access codes to the ship to your nural interface. That way you won't have to ask for someone to open doors for you. If you get down to the armory, Gunny Lee will issue you the guns you requested." With that, DarkStar continued walking towards the bridge.
"This way sir." The ensign led Virus off to his temporary quarters.

"Captain?" Virus asked before following the ensign to his quarters. "Ensign, what are we receiving at Crete?"

The ensign smiled knowingly. "You'll see once we get to Crete."
The trip was relitavly quiet. Blew up a few Liberty Battleships that got to close, avoided Nomads, blew up a whole mess of bounty hunters, Nova'ed Houston and Manhatten (again), the usual stuff. They finaly reached Crete. DarkStar took Virus on a shuttle down to the surface of Crete and into the dock-yard.
"This is the thing I wanted to show you." In the dry dock, lay a re-fitted Liberty Cruiser.
"For some reason, the Liberty Navy never changed it's codes after I left, so mine still worked. I managed to slip this right out of the Alaska system without anyone noticing. Consider it a, 'Welcome Abord' gift."

"Aww.... DarkStar, you shouldn't have." Virus said in a mocking voice. He was, of course, mocking human emotion. A bad attempt at humor. Quickly, though, he returned to his usual blank demeanor, "We do have to say that Liberty never was very smart. Thanks for the gift." Virus was attempting human politeness, something he could never get the hang of no matter how many of his hosts were human. He sounded like he was being sarcastic.

"We assume we get a crew to go with the ship. Or do we have to run it ourselves?" Another bad attempt at immitating human humor. The main reason he probably screwed up the attempt at the joke was his saying 'we' instead of 'I'. Something Virus had a lot of trouble trying to do, as he techinically was two minds, after all.

"You will, of course, be given a crew. The ship has quite a few little interesting parts here and there, and should suprize anyone who comes up against it." DarkStar had to fight off a waze of giggles. Virus's horrendus attempts at humor were laughable, but he managed to only show a slight grin.
"If you need anything, contact me and we'll see about getting you fixed up."

"We have one question. You don't happen to maybe have stolen or designed a cloaking device, have you?"
