Dart, I asked NLH (who are pretty good at terrorizing BMM and have a presence in Dublin), Mollys and IMG. There was just no response - which I personally find sad.

2 hours later Hood was full with characters that could have made a lot of trouble for BMM miners.

I guess it would be interesting to talk to the "enemies" OORPly (only the leaders, etc) and build a framework, so that things happen during such an event. Mining 2 hours in a group is fine, we had good fun when we did that with IMG and MMC, but a real great thing needs (imho) some drama. =)

I love your approach and your energy and I really like seeing BMM in that strong position (that it irp has). Keep it up! Let's make the second event even better.

was considering coming by with a molly char to cause problems, but as i was the first BAFfie on the scene, reckoned it was better to bring up the numbers of escorts, rather than be a lone troublemaker.

anyways, it was funsies. it should be repeated, perhaps with a few less haulers, and a few more miners in the beginning, with miners swopping out to their hauliers when the other ships were full.

all in all, good work

Question:
How many security ships you need to stop the bad ninja junkah Bob?
Answer :
More then 7.

Now on the serious note.
If you want pirates on such event you need to invite them.
I as ruthless pirate(kamikaze player) would rush you without invite but if you want some serious pirate presence you need to talk with the pirate factions. People are polite enough not to interfere since they are not invited.
and Aris gtfo- not everything is credit per second, people have fun when they play the game. Fun>credits ok?

"the targets should be mainly the security forces since the event IS to make credits" :tease:

Nope if you want to make credits and this is the only important thing to you then
it is much faster by silent powermining and barge to transport the ore. Dont speak with anyone, avoid every possible encounter in game, mine only nights when there are 50 people on the server. Enjoy your credits....:nyam:
Actually the idea of the events is to have fun and to promote RP/ justify RP as part of the Disco store... they have nothing to do with credits. Everyone who organised such event or anything with more then 5-6 other players knows how hard is to synchronise them in order to bring some reasonable output... You would be much profitable alone or with a friend or 2 friends then with group of 40 miners, the reasons are quite obvious, but is not funnier for sure.

The gameplay was horrible, mining at 15 fps is not my idea of fun no matter how good the roleplay is. Therefore i will stay away from mining events unless the payment is better. Call this love for pixel money if you wish, i don't care.

listen aris. the mining event was explicitly made to advertise BMM's existence. BMM wants more members. I already said not to expect a fortune. You got what you signed up for.
