A quick clarification/explanation.

This evening I was running my trader "MotownTradingInc" and I was taking artifacts to Manhatten. After I docked and sold my goods, I noticed someone with the prefix ICO said "reported" and I checked the logs to see what that was about. As it turned out, he had told me to halt and I hadn't seen the message because my navmap was open. 2 questions.

1. First of all is fleeing or docking while smuggling against the rules? I was under the impression that it was a legitimate option.

2. Would the above facts lead to a penalty? It seems to be an honest misunderstanding and I can say that RP'ing is not something I disregard when convienent.

Then again, he may not have even been serious about the report but nevertheless I wanted to make sure I wasn't in the wrong here.

By gum if you get caught with contraband you RUN unless you want to loose your cargo and get slapped with a heavy fine! Yes its ok to run. Now if a Liberty pilot had ordered you to halt, it would be bad RP (but not nessacerally a sanctionable offence) to dock at a liberty base. Same in Rhienland, If the RM tell you to halt its bad RP to dock at a RH base. But BHG are different, I dont think it matters, in most cases they cant shoot smugglers, just 'Report' you to the proper authorities.
