I loved this game. The graphics were great for their time and the music we just magical. I also loved the slow pace of the game as you built cobblestone streets with rocks from your quarry. Or dug rows and rows for a cornfield and had a farmer spread seed for it to grow.

I desperately wanted to play a sequal, which was made but only released in the UK. Anyone else play this game?

Don't criticize a man until you walk a mile in his shoes. Then, if he gets angry, he is a mile away and barefoot.

yup i have a copy of this game and i played it. the campaign is quite hard and the skirmish mode is really enjoyable. It laid the foundations for settlers and other big city games like Caesars 1,2 3 etc. It had great combat too and excellent cute detailed animations.

great game to take along on your old laptop as it didnt need a strong video card and still ha really good animation and fun music !
