- One year after the GMG-catastrophe in Sigma-13 the Rheinland Military High Command decided to grant ressources to project "F.L.A.B.-S.L.A.B." (float like a butterfly, sting like a bee).
The main idea was to develope a heavy armed and armored but agile Warship.
702 A.S.
- The year of the "Popular Revolution", after 33 years developing, welding, testing, rewelding and balancing the prototype of project F.L.A.B.-S.L.A.B. was named "Borna" and left the Alster shipyard. Not a moment too soon. A unioner squad attacked Alster from the Alsterfeld in the hope of steeling the prototype. Perfect test situation for this ship. The Borna easily blew these vessels up. From that moment the the Borna was a really enrichment for the Rheinland Military.
800 A.S.
- When the nomad invasion starts, some of the most loyal elite soldiers decided to don't hand over the Borna to infected Militaries. They decommissioned the Borna and transfered it to a civilian rheinland family.
812 A.S.
- The Borna was reactivated to support the today's Rheinland Military. The actual owner is the last offspring of the "civilian family" - Carl Philipp Gottlieb von Clausewitz, professor of the military academy on New-Berlin. In Result of the 12 year break, the Borna is not anymore so preternaturally, but still powerful.
- To lower the costs the communication systems of the Borna are quite spare (compared to actual standards) and the engines aren't up to date to.
817 A.S.
- After the five year inspection, communication systems and engines are updated.
- Following the newer Rheinland naming conventions the Borna was renamed to RNC-Borna.
- To improve the efficiency, Leutnant von Reuter was shifted as first Leutnant to the RNC-Borna. His field experienced will help this ship to intercept the most threats for Rheinland.
