Our story begins on Manhattan. The year is 812 AS. We were nothing more than a ragtag bunch of teenagers, calling ourselves the Pixel Manhattan Bandits-- named after our leader, Keith Pixel. There were various other members at this time, including Nathaniel Hathorne,His Sister Amy Hathorne and Chris Goldman. Thus far we had amounted to little more than a group of petty thieves; a minor annoyance for the local police force. Our leader Keith, however, had high hopes for us. He was an idealistic boy brimming with dissatisfaction over the state of society of the time. The navy were virtually useless; too caught up in their own business to do anything about any of our problems. "Why should we respect them when they can't even do their jobs correctly?" was a popular philosophy of his. Our members agreed.
One day, Keith decided that we should do something big. Something to make a name for the Bandits. Of course we all hung on his every word and did exactly as he planned.Nathaniel Hathorne younger sister Amy stowed away way before any of the other men left, in the back of one of the Ships, As a Navy squadron made a routine stop at Manhattan, we made our move. A group of 5 or so youths in the Bandits hijacked three Navy vessels and launched into space. Several Navy ships pursued us, and a firefight ensued. Two of our ships made it; one did not. Keith Pixel was on that one. As our remaining two heavily damaged vessels drifted aimlessly through the Badlands,After this Nathaniel Found out that his sister was on bord and furious, one's shields failed and its occupants were transferred to the more structurally sound ship. We drifted through space until a squadron of Rogues happened upon us; we were boarded, expecting to be killed.
Surprisingly, the sympathetic Rogues took pity on us and brought us to Buffalo, where we spent our next few years learning to be pirates. The Rogues were the closest thing to a family that we ever had. When it came time for us to form our own squadron, we thought back to our days as the Pixel Manhattan Bandits. Our choice in our name was clear.
Thus, the Pixel Liberty Rogues, With the leaders and best friends Nathaniel Hathorne & Chris Goldman, The PLR was born, we rose through the LR ranks very quickly; We had developed a distinctive set of tactics and ideals that set us apart from most other Rogues. We targeted mostly miners, whom the lazy and arrogant navy rarely paid attention to, let alone defended. We always pirated near some sort of unlawful base, so we had an easy escape route in case we were caught. The most notable difference between us and other Rogues, however, could be our non-dependence on Cardamine. We maintain a strict regiment of vigilance and mental readiness that Cardamine usage directly conflicts with. It is prohibited for any PLR pilots to partake in its usage.
