Which lends to the idea that you are upset you can't trade in it.
Just see the result. Everyone gets realy fustrated flying it. Dev just made so shure it couldnt be used for trading that they ended up with its no use at all....
RP station substitute you say? Know anyone use it as that, not constantly keep it docked or "cloaked"?
So one Bomber can initialize RP and your station substitute may not cloak anymore by rules right? And that one Bomber can and probably will kill it and the Barge has no chance to dock even...great station substitute!
Im not upset, im fustrated. I know who build it just that way so its fustrating.
And i guess i know the reasons behind it as clear as i see the result it caused.
Its a Tin with sweets that cannot be opened..ingeniouse concept..
So yes Dev Team doesnt realy look good* on this IMHO.
*(look stupid is your translation; i dont share that...i just see it as major missconception)

I only have 1 route for it and nobody is getting that untill I buy every single one of my Liberty Drednaughts I plan to <strike>assault Liberty with</strike> <strike>gank with</strike> party with a cap 8
But dont lose hope.
Trade, trade, trade.
My barge has paid for itself, its cap 8, and another cap 8 for one of my Liberty Drednaughs already.

Btw, based on the scale of everything (systems, stations, planets, etc)
Everything should have double the cargo or power when it comes to warship.
Advanced Train: 10,000
Barge: 80,000 (actually more, because it is so much larger than everything else)
But it's just the product of the irrational fear that every noob everywhere will buy it to get a cap.

That was the point. The development team made it frustrating to fly for a reason. It has a use; as a storage facility. Many factions use them as such too. Almost all of the mining factions do.
Yes, it is a role play device. OSI's barge sits in Yukon. Do we ever fly it? Nope, but it serves as a major device in the factions story and lore. Did we need to buy it to use it in that way? No, but actually having it supports our claim to having it.
It wasn't meant to be used as a trade ship, if you are doing so and getting frustrated you have only yourself to blame for it. As you are the person beating your head against a wall, not the development team. I can honestly say, I highly doubt anyone on the development team cares about your opinion of them because you don't like that the Barge isn't balanced so that you can trade in it. They gave us a toy and said how it should be used, you can't blame them when you don't use it as intended and it annoys you.
