If you will all look Here, you'll see the wiki page for the House of Liberty. While reading it, I have noticed three main problems with the page;

1. There is little to no detail of the House of Liberty prior to the Discovery mod lore. It's a bit surprising that even Gallia, a completely new house, has more information about its past history that Liberty.

2. Most of the Article is written in an Anti-Liberty light. Honestly, the entire "Forigen Relations" section seems like it was written by an angry Rhinelander. I hope that this can be reconsiled with an unbiased description of Libery, but even a Pro-Liberty wiki page would be better.

3. The "Government and Politics" section is, umm... Missing?

For the record, I have no experience RPing a Libertonian, nor do I have any special knowlage of Liberty's workings or History. Hopefully, some with experience and knowlage will make changes to this page, as it is most people's main and only source of information about one of the biggest houses in the games.

Let it burn.

Yeah, the Foreign Relations is actually specifically about Rheinland and nothing else. :/

This is because in my humble opinion, the wiki should be used for information such as base locations, ship stats/reviews, guns, etc... Not roleplay information. That's why I have never updated it.

I can't speak for the other people in the Liberty government.

Factual pages should stay factual, and Roleplay pages such as extended character biographies can stay on their own pages.

It's also assumed that people know more about Liberty. The Corporations, too, have had very defining roles in Liberty's evolution.

However, the Foreign Relations could use some more details, I agree. I might look into it some time soon.

There was a sig here, once.

I definitely agree that most of the main Liberty wiki page should contain info about various game facts (Such as bases, systems, ect. that Joe mentioned.) However, I do think that Roleplay background, such as History of the house, can be as helpful as simple game based facts, as it serves as a great resource for people who are just starting out with RPing a Liberty Character.

On the plus side, the shiplist and planetlist on the page seem to be doing ok, and if anyone wants to update those, its pretty easy and there shouldn't be much debate over it.

Let it burn.

The wiki is a place for the "undisputable" facts, and this also includes profiles, house history and current diplomatic relations. The wiki is definitely not just FLStat on the web, or at least that is not the only function that it is currently fulfilling. A person who is well versed in present Liberty lore should update the page with the relevant information, so as to bring it up to standard with pages such as Rheinland and Kusari, both of which treat exhaustively on the defining aspects of the two houses...

Ok, I have just updated the 'Foreign Relations' section of the wiki, which, in my opinion, used to be the worst part of the page. It was incredibly biased and made little to no sense. Now, I'm not saying that my job is a work of art; I'd like any imput on that section, and if anyone has more to add, please do!

However, there is still alot of work to do on the page! The history sections need the most work, and anyone with a knowlage of Liberty RP history should get on this right away. You don't have to be an expert, just make an effort to be knowlageable and unbiased.

Here's to hoping this page improves!

Let it burn.
