Welcome to the party, mate! We think you'll do just fine here. As you've already noticed, we've got the Communist Penguins and our Cannibals, Bluntpencil and Turkish, so I can skip that part...since you asked, I prepare my speil:

I run the 66th Outcast Fighter Wing, which basically means I own. We own the Outcast Guard system, Omicron-85, the one with the supercool-and-very-attractive-to-newer-players-Black-Hole, so there's that, AND we provide free Cardamine for anybody who wants it. Except those Corsair bastards and IMG idiot. As far as Outcasts go, we're a dedicated military unit, whereas the [BLS] prefer to smuggle and the [RoS] will pirate, smuggle, and fight. We basically make it our business to kill anybody the Outcasts don't like, but do it with style. Oh. There's RP. We do that too. ^_^

If you're starting out, I'd suggest get a dedicated Trader character (but make sure he's got a decent RP...we've got too many generic traders flying around that speak in l33t and get their kicks by calling the Admins noobs). That will allow you to make decent money for damn near anything you want to buy ('cept the Battleship, which we strongly advise you do not purchase...). After that, Join My Faction! Just so we've got that point perfectly clear.

Anyways, whatever you do, have fun, mate! But don't join the Corsairs. Ever.:dry:See you in Space. (I can't believe I just typed that)

An outcast combat wing sounds fun... might join that at some point. Until then, Wash will be saving that 38.5 mil for a Firefly. I got two very generous donations in my first 2 hours, one 'because I was flying a starflea' and the other 'to go buy some guns', the latter after flying a camara through Hudson unarmed....:$

My first impression of the server is excellent, filled with excellent people, with a side of excellence. Thanks again guys, and see you in space. Well, after I write a character intro anyway.

I've amassed 2 million credits in my time, plus the resale worth of my Camara heavy freighter (~400k). I've been thinking of upscaling to a legitimate transport that can hold cargo pods to speed up money gathering, but I'm not sure what to go for. I checked the readme and found the armored transport within my price range, but is it worth it for only 125 extra cargo space? Should I splurge now and go for it, or save up for a lifter/transport?

I started with rhino, went to humpback, and humpback jump to train!
