Hell, I understand your concern!

My recent char's meant to be one with serious problems, debts and all that - a reason for why he's risking his life in a space ship doing cargo runs for his faction just to earn enough for a living.

Now after just one day he's been able to buy a nice transporter that paid back in a single run and every further would lead to more money than he probably ever needed in his whole life.

It's kind of the reason why I had a three years long break from Disco. The majority of players have enough money for the most expensive ships their IDs would allow.


That's really not an OOC issue, but an IC one. Of course the player should be able to distinguish engine- and role play, but ignoring profitable trade routes would be just as bad RP as acting like a poor fellow when you can afford a train-armada or a whole space station, competing Liberties big three. One just can't simply ignore ones own wallet or the best profit opportunities when role playing properly.

It needs.. something to solve this problem. I just gotta think of it first.
