I just installed freelancer and all of discovery mod on xp 64 bit edition, and when i try to launch the game through the normal freelancer exe it works fine. when i use the rp or pvp exe there is no picture of the freelancer helmet its just a white box. when i try to launch it it just says it cant find the freelancer exe. any suggestions?

Why do you have more than one .exe?

Isn't a Exe , it's a shortcut ... ( they just modify one parameter with the true Exe )

See in the , normally : C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE

Search if you see a freelancer.exe

If no , try to reinstall all files ...



Ps : Maybe isn't this ... but I ask ...

Try the "C:\Program Files (x64)\" directory... or something like that...

I think you have somehow edited changed the path or deleted a "/' or "-" or somthing like that maybe?

I accidently added into the "start in" box instead of the "Target" box once.

Otehrwise, no other ideas :(
