True, but being as long/er does not necessarily mean more displacement which by current(?) (WWI/II) standards sorts ships into their classification if they all have turrets.

u kidding?

the Yamato, largest battleship to ever sail had a displacement of around 72 73 thousand tonnes.

the Jahre Viking super transport has a displacement of nearly 600,000 tonnes fully loaded and 450,000 empty.

it is also 2x as long as yamato.

if the Jahre viking hit the yamato, yamato would split like a banana in a glorious fireball.

If we talk about realism, there's no SNAC. :P

actually, we can do that ...

we make battleships totally invulnerable to SNAC hits to the hull ... but we add a funny little canyon spiked with turrets - where a bomber has to fly through - in order to hit a hole as large as a - how did luke skywalker put it? - as easy to hit as a womp rat or so ....

if you manage to hit that little hole, which is as large as a pilot - and only from a certain angle ... the battleship takes deadly damage - if you fail that .... you cannot do damage.

it would add a lot of ... fun ... to the role of bombers - considering that they woudl be forced to get into solaris range for certain hehe

on the subject of bret BB being a pocket BB - that might be the case ... - the ship is as small and compact as a light battleship - averagly armoured ... but equipped with a medium powercore, which gives it an edge over really light battleships .. it is still able to strafe long range fire quite effectivly - but lacks the high mobility of ... lets say an osiris.

considering its size and the fact that it has a medium core - it sure is technologically advanced compared to some other ships.

The Osiris is a pretty nice Pocket Battleship, but I suppose the Dunkirk is good as well:)

If we talk about realism, a pocket BS is a pocket BS and it could be taken down by very few bombers.

If we talk about FL, pocket battleships are like battlecruisers, the punch of almost a BS and the hull little bit stronger than a cruiser.

Actually, in FL there are no real pocket battleships, you would need an own ship class for that.
