As far as I can see Rheinland has three shipyards: Alster, Oder and the Schatten Research Facility.

Now, which one produces military ships?
Let's see...

According to lore Daumann builds them.

First, I think it isn't the largest anymore. There are much bigger shipyards even if you include the ring structure which belongs to it. Second, the time after the 80 year war had been over at least since the Nomad war. Todays military ships would probably be build here, don't you think?

At the moment Rheinland's capital ships are sold on the Alster Shipyard. Why?! This shipyard is run by Republican Shipping, they wouldn't build military ships, that was always Daumann's business. Also the capital equipment is sold on Oder and in Braunschweig. I think it would make much more sense if the sellpoint for the ships would've been switched.
Not just that, but it would make buying Storks for non-Daumann'ish mining corporations available, as they are not allowed to dock on Oder.

So, is this already planned for .86 or would you please consider this change? (or will there be new shipyards for Rheinland in .86?)

Schatten Research Facility is a good example here. It is pretty much abandoned and no PR os playing there (anymore) realy. FL community has no Army of DEV`s like Microsoft obviously so dont expect everything to be near perfect or oddities to be fixed in days after notice.

Anyhow i agree, this is a little odd in detail.

the problem is that no matter where you build it, if i remember right, the shipyard docking things arent big enough to hold a rm bs anyway.
