Over the past years Freeport One has undergone several refit and expansion projects. While such projects are always ongoing, we have completed a wing for corporations and trading companies to maintain office space, living quarters, and for the business of trade.

The One wishes to be a center for diplomacy and trade, and we have invited each government to establish a presence on the station for diplomacy with each other as well as a central location for discussion of trade agreements.

It is our hope that the establishment of corporate office space on the station will contribute and enhance free trade throughout our region and all of Sirius space. As many are aware, the One has kept a 5k protection zone around the station. While this is a no fire zone, we wish to create within it a free trade zone; a location where trade, even among unlikely parties, is possible without fear of attack or reprisal. Recently outside the station I observed a Corsair transport trading goods with a house trading vessel. This is what a Freeport should be, a location where trade can be performed without fear by either party.

We do this, not under a flag of conquest, but under a flag of freedom. We do this not because it is easy, but because it is hard. We do this to establish a legacy for our children, and our children’s children into the great beyond. Communication is the key to trade, trade is the key to our economies, and there are times even when warring parties have need to talk with each other under flag of truce.

Freeport One will be offering space in it’s corporate wing to interested businesses at reasonable lease rates tiered to the amount of floor space and oppulence desired.

4th – 9th November: Arrival of emissaries

8th -9th November: Open House for business representatives to view the office spaces made available. Tour of Freeport One. (Business entities

9th November: Buffet dinner and drinks in the central court of our latest BioDome addition.

10th November: Grand ball aboard The Northern Star to showcase Zoner technologies. The Ball will be located in the main BioDome of the ship as it cruises from Freeport One to planet Sprague and back.

11th-15th November: Government conference in the main meeting room of Freeport One.

Note: While corporations and trading companies will also be invited to the station, those members will be permitted to attend the buffet mixer and grand ball, but only government representatives will be permitted to attend the conference.

Ever since the disaster so many months ago, where brave members of our Transport Corps braved a warzone to evacuate your wounded to medical facilities on Planet Cambridge, we have felt a kinship with Freeport One. Safeguarding your citizens has given us a closeness to you, and we hope that our presence at this event would be most welcome.
