(// Well, I realized I never wrote up a short biography on any of my characters, so here it is. Also, Instead of spamming this forum, I'm going to keep it to one thread and update it as frequently as I can//)

Name: Juan Lucendez
Profession: Corsair Extraordinaire (Also an Elder)

Origins of Juan are inconsistent and shady. Unlike other Elders, Juan Lucendez is not a part of a significant Corsair familia or birthright. In fact, public records show absolutely no trace of a "Lucendez" family line until only 10 years ago, leading some to believe it is faked.

Nevertheless, the Corsair known as Juan Lucendez served in several battles, most commemorated was the RM/TBH war and invasion that almost spelled doom for the Brotherhood's resources. Juan helped with the evacuation from Sigma 13, and was aboard the Osirus-class Battleship "Altanaria" right before it's symbolic destruction, along with the loss of Elder Maniaco.

Most recently, Juan was promoted to Elder with the loss of Maniaco and the retirement of Farquar. Although he declined at first, he later accepted and joined the Elders of the Corsair Brotherhood. Reasons for this hesitation are unknown.

The conflict with SCRA is also closely tied to Juan, as he openly lobbied against their presence, including the ousting of Captain Adrian "Ares" a Jovem from the Council of Elders and the canceling of the arms deal.

Motives: Unknown, although his persistence in sending brothers into Delta seem to point to an anti-Nomad attitude. His main motive seems to be keeping quiet and staying out of the spot-light.

Ships preferred: Titan. Although as Elder he has access to all Elder ships, including the capital ships, Juan prefers to pilot his Titan and strike deep into enemy space alone. Giving him the nickname "The Lone Elder."

Name: Rose O'Leary
Occupation: Skipper of the Planetform ship "Memory," recruit in the Southern Alliance

Rose O'Leary is a Liberty citizen and fervent pilot in the Southern Alliance. Her trading ship, the Memory, is a Planetform vessel that she pilots when off duty.

Rose's cousin, John Karva was lost in a freak ion storm accident, sending much of her family into deep mourning. Rose took it upon herself to personally fill her cousin's shoes and join up with the Liberty Navy. Since her decision, she has become driven to discover what exactly happened to her cousin and if he is still alive.

Motives: Finding her lost cousin, or his body.

Ships preferred: Avenger. Although she has experience flying heavier ships, the Navy has a tight policy about ship selections. She will pilot her Avenger until she can get something better.

Name: Independent Hacker codenamed "Sans Seraph"
Occupation: Unknown

Very little is known about this independent Hacker. His real name is unknown, although it is known his is Libertonian.

From docking manifests, we determine he captains a Lane Hacker Gunship named the same name, Sans Seraph. Very little is known about the crew, as they seem to be a very tight-knit group of hackers that don't seem to dock very often. The ship itself was built and christened long before the Hackers adopted the Director's office and authority, making his movements and whereabouts unknown even to the current Directors of the Lane Hackers. The ship itself is interesting in nature. Sans Seraph seems to have sacrificed armor plating for an expanded central processing computer core and additional life-support units. This may be the reason the Sans Seraph is deployed to the outer-most regions of Sirius with very little support from the central Lane Hacker authority.

Between open-comm transmissions, it appears Sans Seraph has a very open and congenial relationship with the current Director of the LH, Moriarty, although this may simply be a facade. He continuously complains about the inequities of the Directors and their subordinates, calling them "pathetic gangs" and "intelligent street thugs."

Sans Seraph's combat tactics are somewhat inconsistent. They range from suicidal charges into enemy territory to complete cowardice. The very fact that the Sans Seraph doesn't have any kind of armor upgrade seems to factor into everything, as he is less likely to stand his ground in the edge worlds where he may be several systems away from friendly forces. Yet, Seraph has been known to stand his ground if there is a mission to complete of vital importance. If not, there is no need to waste valuable resources.

Motive: Unknown, although his zone of operations seems to change frequently from Rhienland to the Taus, to recent sighting in Omicron Gamma and Alpha.

Ship preferred: Lane Hacker Gunship

"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."
