I'm surprised people disagree with this - isn't that what the Liberty Navy and Police do? I've been doing it for a while with daedalus (who has a Navy tag), though I was disappointed that few were carrying contraband, and annoyed that a couple of traders thought I was hanging around for piracy (obviously choosing to ignore the tag). Carrying drugs and artifacts in a heavily armed ship is far too easy - it should be risky. Maybe once battleships have cruise disruptors, things will change...

I think it's a good RP idea.

Batlleships having CD`s or CM`s......that sounds to me...well.....just not for a BS...it doesn`t fit...

I agree, but apparently they're in beta 4.79

please note that if i do this, i will have heavy bomber and bs support. Im not taking any chances. and a Player police force would ring some semblance of order to the server

I'm afraid to say Battleship support and rheinland bombers will not be enough to stop the miscreants of Sirius. If you wish to stop people like me from trading freely as I wish not only will you have to catch my ship in Alaska or Omicron Delta (No PvP in NY, so you could not stop me there.), But you would quite likely have to deal with Nomad's and My escort, usually a Cruiser, or Battleship Class ship. Of course that is if you can find me in all that space, people will learn to move round you, unless you intend to blockade gates, holes, and bases, in which case TC ships would be mobilised to neutralise this threat to traders (Whom at current we are offering protection to in Omicron Delta as we are fighting the Nomads), and this threat to TC income.

Beside all that I do not believe it is practical, you have to scan and stop me before I dock with a gate, and I only come out of cruise to dock, once I'm docked, you've lost me. Try if you want, and good luck to you, but I believe you will see very little in the way of success, maybe just give in to your desires and admit you want to be a pirate :crazy: .

There was a disscussion about a server police group being created awhile ago and there was very little support for it then.

There's no need to bring any sembelance of order to the server, Personally, it's fine as it is.

Besides which you'd need Igiss's approval to do so and then you'd have to convine Wolfpack that it's needed, which is about as likely as a snowball in hell.

In all the attitudes that everyone is slinging around of being some big bad dude that is unstoppable is really poor roleplay attitude. If i am not mistaken this is suppose to be a roleplay server. Adding a police clan is adding to the roleplay. Granted not everyone likes being stopped and detained as we are all on a time schedule but to add to the roleplay i dont see any problems with his ideas except trying to form it with maybe uber ships and such.....when first creating a clan you need to build up from scratch and pray it succeeds....not start right off the bat at the top cause that leaves you no room to improve and grow.

Try reworking your Ideas on this and come up with a better and more appealing proposal before submitting it to the general public....and for the rest of you try to keep things in mind on a role play aspect...without the high and mighty invinceable attitudes...there is always someone out there better than you.
