Every bounty board in the guard systems return the "too many users" error. Everytime all the time no matter how many people are online. It's some kind of errorlevel trapping error yes?

Can this be fixed while everybody is hot for bug killin? It's annoying kick in the fiction

I can't remember there ever being a guard system that contained missions.

I thought this was going to be a QQ about being bountied, but then I used my reading eyes.

It's the server's/base's way of saying it doesn't offer missions.

No its the incorrect response for the base offering no bounties. When a vanilla base has no missions, it says "no missions available, come back later." When a disco .85 base has no missions, it says "too many people using the bounty boards" which is the wrong error. Maybe the error code being returned by the base is wrong. Maybe the string is wrong. Dunno somebody ought to look at it. It's a bug report. Hence this thread is in the bug reports forum.

Greetings.

Sometimes you even get that message at bases where usually missions are given.

That's because there are 2 or more players on it at that time, obviously.

As for the message that's showing, I don't really think it's THAT much of an error that it needs a fix. Doesn't ruin the gameplay and stuff. And there are no missions on the Guard bases.

Are you people triage team for the bug reporting database? ALL IM ASKIN IS ADD IT TO THE BUG REPORT DATABASE. THEN YOU CAN IGNORE IT THERE.

This message is not a bug. It simply means one of two things:
A: Other player are using all of the mission areas around the base.
B: There are no missions that can be spawned, because the mission area does not intersect a spawn area with NPCs that the factions on that base are unfriendly or hostile to, or there are no mission areas defined in range.

B is why it always fails for guard systems. Basically the missions need to be removed from those bases, but that'll mean revisiting -every- guard base in existance. Until we figure out what we want to do with guard systems as a whole, I'm holding off on that.

You're saying that there actually are missions available, but no spawn zones for them, which falls down to this error message? So its a bug in FL?

Didn't expect that

I'm saying the base has the option to spawn missions, but can't find a place to put them. Can mean two things:
- Someone gave a base missions that shouldn't have them in the first place. Tends to happen if someone copy/pastes entries from another base to create a base population for a nonvanilla base, which I think happened in the past a lot. Guard systems may not spawn missions, so that's the issue in this case. Deleting the mission options will cause the board to revert to the more proper "no missions available" report.
- Someone designed a system without a proper system of background encounters with the required histile factions, and mission vignettes.

Since you did not specify specific systems (sorry, I am NOT checking every base in every guard system for this) this will not be acted on. Report specific bases/systems to the general bug thread.
