Update the Scimitar model? I actually prefer the stubby nosed version. The sleekness seems to fit better on the Stiletto and the Sabre, which are both larger and have more space to distribute their mass. The Scimitar is smaller, and might need that little extra bit of bulk on the nose for... reasons. Internal ship components that can't fit anywhere else? I don't know, really. I just like it better the way it is now.

More sell points for Border World ships? Yes, please. Barrier Gate, Freeports, wherever else they can fit. The pirate bases shouldn't be hoggin' all the BW Shipline sales.

Make the barrier Gate into three separate stations to provide more ships? Mneh... Then we'd have the Barrier Gate showing up three times on all of the base lists and stuff. I'd find that to be an annoyance, but only a minor one, really. I don't know if we really need to do this, though.

Eliminate the MkI ships and balance every ship in the game to be on par with every other ship of its class? Oh man that would be awesome. It's one of those ideas that's been bouncing around in my head for years now, too. However, I'm almost certain the devs would never do it. And yeah this is yet another topic which should be discussed in its own thread, if at all.
