Why not just make an MK2 Legionaire light fighter and leave the Decurion as a heavier light fighter? Because, you know, some people actually like the model of the Decurion. Or give Decurion a class 9 shield buff so it can compensate for low agility.

the Decurion IS too slow, its no denying it.

Its about the same size as Gladiator, only lacking the fins.... In all honesty, either swap the model, which should take no more then 15 minutes TOPS, after all, you just gotta copy pasta a ship already there, and copy pasta in the stats of a ship already there then rename it Legionnaire MK II....or do the second best option, buff legionaire and delete decu

15 minutes dev time. Is that REALLY worth making this many players angry and displeased?

well from a rp perespective, i like to think that sair ships are so heavy because more mass means more protection from radiation to the pilot. and where they live, rad was distributed in bulks.

2 cents.

although gladi and decurion are way too slow for their class+size. whats the point of a LF if it is slow and big? same for gladi, which is just plain big for a HF and the agility is more adequate, but still a bit lacking reaction ( i believe 'time to 90% max angular speed' is the proper term )

So by that logic we should double the radiation damage on all other ships in 41. lol nah m8 not gonna happen.

It always bothered me why "THE ONE" was the worst vanilla top fighter. But you know as a corsair I would chalk it up to rp. Fine we are not the best ship builders and this is the best we make end of story. Then I would courteously ask all other factions to respect that and keep it in rp as well. Do not come to Gamma to "PVP" for the sake of "PVP".

My observation as a side note is that because corsair ship line does not have a decent one on one very heavy fighter or a light fighter for that matter, pretty much all players that play as an "indie Corsair" (not faction related) opt to fly bigger ships because they know going in a one on one against some one with the same fighting skill in a corsair fighter class ship means a disadvantage for them. Then we get labeled for flying too many caps.

I have to say this is an interesting topic and merits a second look from developers.

I understood what you said m8. What I was trying to say that may be ingame mechanics could be modified to represent what you are saying. Why is that me in a lead radiation suit gets the same amount of radiation damage as a Saber in a *cough* thong and SPF 15 Sunblock. :laugh:

Again the lines between Meta gaming and Rping are going to merge. Its a developers job to get as as close to rp as possible to maintain the sanctity of the rp server. Just sayin

We still wan't our Legionnaire mk2! Can someone with POWARS come here and say "YES" or "NO"?
I don't believe it's hard to make a new fighter based on Vanilla model.
