INCOMING TRANSMISSION
LNS-PATUXENT, 2ND FLEET GUNBOAT
LT. ARTEMUS HAGEN, COMMANDER

Today on patrol around Colorado, I ran across a junker in a pirate transport ship named Junkalicious. According to aricle IV of the Liberty laws, these ships are illegal to own and operate in house space, but he seemed to be coming and going from Galileo to planet Denver with all manner of goods. I scanned his ship and noticed he had civilian pilots on board, presumably captured during piracy operations in Galileo. Per regulations, I asked him to drop his cargo, at which point he lied and said he had no cargo, then attempted to flee through the Galileo gate. I decided that I should fire a few rounds in order to encourage some compliance, so I did, and rather than comply with my lawful demands he turned and began to attack my ship.

At this time a Liberty Rogue ship White.Coyote that I had not seen joined in the attack against me. I decided to maintain fire on the junker while performing evasive maneuvers, until he eventually was able to flee in the action. I then turned my attention on the rogue and had it almost destroyed, but then junkalicious returned with a fresh load of batteries and nanobots and resumed the attack. By this point I was already out of supplies, and it was just a matter of time before the rogue returned, but rather than run like these two cowards I stood my ground. Finally one of the low-level bandits in the area hit me with a mine and that was the end of my ship.

So be advised, the junker ship named Junkalicious around Galileo and Colorado is a pirate, a liar, while keeping his junker ID papers so that he can dock on planet Denver to sell his wares. He should be treated as hostile to Liberty wherever he is seen.

END TRANSMISSION
