This is Captain Cerdic Cartesian of the Aquilon class carrier Sword of Damocles.

I recently received information indicating that a new Zoner faction named "Phoenix" had come into existence and is headed by yourself.

My crew and I have long been proponents of yourself and would welcome any further information regarding Phoenix that you deem fit to furnish us with.

We are currently in Baffin undergoing repairs following a mission to the Tau systems to assess the Gallic presence here. During our transit through Omicron Alpha, we were attacked by a Nomad Battleship who was working in conjunction with two Outcast fighters and one Outcast bomber. The snubs were destroyed, but we sustained heavy damage from the Battleship and were forced to flee to Freeport six.

We will return to Omicron 74 once our battle damage is repaired.

Until then, I await your orders.

Hi Cerdic Cartesian

You are correct, I am managing a new group of Zoners called the Phoenix. Our members are omicroners remand and independent zoners that joined us. Basically, I can summarize some of our goals. One is to protect human kind against nomads, for that reason we will do our best to support the Order. Another goal is to promote the Zoners way of life. For that purpose we will bring assistance to all groups that fight for zoners virtues such as freedom and equity. Also we are going to manage some 'zoners' events to promote zoners way of life among civilians of the House government. Finally, we also aim to explore Sirius as to settle in new systems not under the influence of Houses or any other form of expanding government. There are also some other goals but it would not be safe to talk about it in this transmission. If you are interested to join our group we could meet and discuss about that as soon as you arrived in omicron-74.

I am sorry to hear that you were attacked in omicron-alpha by nomads and outcasts. I would be interested by a detail report of that event.

We have now arrived back at Livadia and must report that the Tau systems have been almost completely overrun by the GRN, who are extremely hostile to any non Gallic traffic.

Hi Cerdic,

this is indeed bad news for inhabitants of the Tau. After the war between Bretonia and Kusari they have no need of a third party joining the battle... We will do what we can to protect the local civilian population. We can at least help refugees to settle in a safer place in Sirius.

For now, we have received some calls of the Order. They need some basic commodities for their people and equipment to rebuild their fleet. So basically, we will try to satisfy them while helping the tau population at the same time.

Having discussed the matter with my senior officers and, having listened to the voices of the enlisted men, I wish to formally request admission to the Phoenix on behalf of all officers and crew of the 'Damocles.

This ship and all who serve on her have always striven to ensure that the Zoner way of life is sacrosanct, and, to that end, we pledge ourselves to stand against any threat (foreign or domestic) which threatens us.

Please transmit further details on what we need to do to have our application considered.

In the meantime, I intend to ask the Order for their permission to fit measures which will allow us to transport Nomad remains and artifacts to our research base on Corinth. I believe it is crucial that we study these creatures so as to better understand them and, by definition, find better ways of killing them.
