Gin. That is a nice name. Next time, perhaps we should call her, him, them, Genetic alteration or experimentation. I can only presume on a level with nomad DNA.
That is why their name is Gin am I correct? How could a simple man like myself know this?
Today I asked Gin about choice. About how to choose. About her nature verses a choice. Today, I choose not to blow her out of space.
Does this seem cruel to you? Did you wish a teacher to hold and coddle Gin into the ways of life and happiness?
A pirate would have shown her nothing but the hardships, the underside, the sickly and deformed ways of humanity, then what?
Most houses would have stolen her away and put her right back where she, he, they were.

Gin seems to learn through analogy. A useful tool to say the least but it has limits.

Power is of no concern to me, not any more. I do not care what biological marvel you consider Gin to be but if it has the ability to choose, your will for it may not end how you wish.

The Cygnus will hold position in Omega 49 for the remainder of today until we depart. We will see what picture Gin paints of this universe soon.

Well.
That is no longer of any concern to me.
You may think I do not care.
..For her, analogies are understandable. probably because she's seen them at work.

It isn't a marvel we're faced with here.
It's an abomination of science.
An abomination I care for.

She was supposed to become a first step in what came next, a temporary queen or king, if you will.
We used wildlife dna for reference, and tried to warp human DNA into something more.

But Gin doesn't deserve to be discarded.
