Nomads are not what you think they are, the typical assumption that the Nomads all infect people is not true.
The Nomad community is very basic; parasites, hosts, pilots, rulers.

Nomad parasites were only recently added to the nomad community, they normally just live off the hosts, but ever since they discovered that they could infect Humans, they have been a major part in the community of Nomads.

Nomad "Hosts" are the general population, they are mammals that need the Nomad parasites to live, just like how a Nomad parasite cannot live for any more than 12 hours out of a host.

Pilots are not exactly what you would guess them to be, Nomad pilots are what make up the entire crew for Nomad ships, they are not to be confused with Hosts, because Nomad pilots are made out of the same substance as nomad ships are.

Nomad rulers are just the political mind behind all nomad behavior, they have elephant-like skin, their brain is held in skin, not a skull, other than that they look like humans.

And now that you know what nomads actually are, I shall now give you some insight about how it all works.

I have been hired by the LSF government to write an essay about nomads, but I must first discover what they are like.

The people whom employed me made it very clear that I am NOT allowed to tell the date, in case there are nomad-infected beings whom have access to this accounting.

I am on my way to a nomad city, I am in sigma-xxprojno (Weird name, I know) and I shall reach the planet sometime this week

Our ship has been attacked, everyone except the fittest have been infected, I don't know if I will be able to write again.

I have been chosen for something, yesterday I was brought into a room with beds!

I have been worked day and night, my infected crew mates teaching me the nomad language. I can now understand them a bit.

I have now learned this language, it is very simple, and sounds a bit like German. I now know that I have been chosen to make political judgments as a Ruler (Ruler's are the leaders of the nomads) and that I shall have a bit more freedom, I might try to take one of their ships once I learn how they work.

I have asked to be shown a nomad fighter, but I shall have escorts. I shall try to figure out how they work and make my escape tomorrow.
